“CIC – See What I See” Talk: Construction Safety - Applications of Satellite Remote Sensing Technology
Global climate change has significant impacts on building and infrastructure health. Innovative satellite remote sensing and multi-source geospatial big data can be used to monitor infrastructural deformation, issue early warnings of potential risks, and ensure infrastructural safety. In the upcoming "CIC - See What I See" talk, Prof. Mei-Po KWAN, Choh-Ming Li Professor of Geography and Resource Management and Director of the Institute of Space and Earth Information Science of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, will discuss the benefits of integrating satellite remote sensing and personal sensing technologies, and how they facilitate safe and smart construction design that fosters sustainable development.
Listen also to the young participants of "The Construction Industry Youth Greater Bay Area Exchange Program" as they share their insights and experiences from the trip.
